Leadership means something different to each of us – shaped by the examples we’ve seen, the expectations placed on us and the assumptions we carry.

In today’s fast-paced world, where expectations are high and ideas about good leadership differ widely, it takes clarity, reflection and a grounded approach to lead with confidence and impact.

That’s why I support leaders and leadership teams in navigating key leadership challenges – and in finding clarity, direction and confidence in their role.

I work across all leadership levels – from emerging managers to senior executives – and support individuals and organisations through systemic coaching, strategic consulting, tailored programmes and experiential learning formats. My approach is always adapted to the people, culture and context involved.

With more than 20 years of experience in leadership development, I work systemically and strategically – and in close partnership with clients. For larger projects, I collaborate with a trusted network of experienced colleagues to design and deliver impactful, high-quality solutions.

Leadership development is never one-size-fits-all. That’s why I design each format in a way that is systemic, strategic, and adapted to your goals and context.
I create learning spaces that enable clarity, connection and purposeful action – for individual leaders, teams or cross-functional groups.

Depending on the context and needs, I work on-site, online, hybrid or in blended formats – always designed to fit your goals and setting.

Clients appreciate that I combine structure with openness, experience with curiosity, and clarity with empathy. My focus is on meaningful leadership development that resonates and lasts.

My roles typically include:

I work in German and English, with leaders at all levels – often in international and culturally diverse settings. For larger projects, I collaborate with trusted colleagues from my network.

Ellen Herb

I’ve been working in leadership development for over 20 years – as a programme lead at the Daimler Corporate Academy, as co-founder of a consultancy, and since 2013 as an independent coach, consultant and facilitator.

What continues to drive me is the belief that leadership is not just a position – but a practice. It requires clarity, self-reflection, and the willingness to keep learning – from new situations, from others, and from our own experience.

I’m convinced that organisations need to learn, not only to adapt to change, but to shape it. That’s why I design formats that go beyond theory and create space for dialogue, insight and shared learning.
